Percentages

In problem solving we are learning about Percentages we have been doing percentages for the last two weeks. It has been very fun and challenging.

Here's my thinking (:

65`/. + what =100`/.
65`/. + 5/`. =70/`/.
70`/. + 30`/. =100`/.
5`/. + 30`/. =30`/.
and so the answer is 35`/.

Water safety

SPLASH! As I jump into the water I hold my breath until my life jacket lifts me above the water. As I spin around to lie on my back Ben jumps in to the water and then a bunch of water fling's in to my eyes and my nose. Then I spin around and I put my hands on the side of the boat and Quinn and Maddi grab the side of my life jacket and they pull and I push as I get in the boat Ben is just turning around and Me and Quinn both grab Ben, we pull and Ben push's as Ben face plants into the boat. Ben turns around and me and Ben grab Veti and we pull as hard as we can but we can't so the 2 instructors help me and Ben pull and she just got in the boat.

Athletics

On Tuesday the year 5 and 6 had athletics I'm year 4 but I'm in a year 4 5 class so I had to do it but still when we did long distance I came 6 out of about 50 Year 5 boys and then we started doing sprints I came first in my 50 metre race and I came 1st in my 80 metre race.
So that meant I was in the finals after morning tea After morning tea we started the race. We did 50 metres first and in 50 meters I got 5 out of 9 and in 80 meters I got 4 out of 9 and then we did the relay and then we did the prizes for all of the races.

The Journey

“ The Journey “

I’m behind the curtains. I hear the crowd screaming.
I felt more nervous than I did in the class,
I feel the sweat running down my face.
The music starts and I have Keahn and Ben by my side.
I run onto the stage and high five Quinn, Lachie, Kiah and Ryusei.
I look at the light and it was as bright as a lighting bolt!
Then the girls come on and
the boys went onto the lower bit of the stage. I could feel the
beat under the lower bit of the stage.
As we went to do the Salsa step I was nervously
awaiting my partner. The music finishes and the crowd
went wild. We briskly walked to the back of the stage
and watched the cast do their final words.
After that we sang one last song “We Are the World.”

Visual Maths

This is a photo of my visual maths that me and Flynn did. It is a graph about gaming.  There are games that we love and games that we hate. You might know some of these games. If you think that we need to add some games comment some games that you would of added to your graph or what you would of made your graph about.

Museum

With my class I went to the museum it was an amazing sight. In the museum there was a really really really heavy tennis ball. It was like holding a weight or the Earth it must of had concrete in it or something. Moving on there was a running thing where it shows you how many days it would take you to run to the moon. I would be doing 4.91 a second and it would take me 1275 days to run to the moon. As you can see there is a light where you do something and it shows you doing the thing right now I am doing hype (off Fortnite). It was really fun.
